WHY O PARQUE?
At O Parque you will find a warm and family environment with individualized attention for each and every child, valuing their best skills.
Bilingual teaching (Portuguese / English) prepares our children for the global world that we now live in, taking advantage of the ease that children are able to learn and at the same time awakening their interest in other languages and cultures.
We use project pedagogy, stimulating their curiosity to wanting to know more and promoting autonomous and responsible work – the key for success in the future is the ability to focus and work independently. The project presentations teaches them how to speak in public and gives them the ease required to defend their views.
We have unique educational programmes created specifically for our children and adapted to every age: in the nursery and kindergarten we encourage children to learn through the five senses so they can discover new interests, meanings, concepts and realities; and in the primary school we give way to knowledge and train children to be autonomous, responsible and to have a great liking for learning.
Academic excellence is essential to O Parque - we want each one of our students to excel themselves through a rigorous teaching method, however dynamic in which everyone has the opportunity to experience the different areas of knowledge. We offer a very demanding curriculum with specialized teachers who view their own discipline as the most important of the curriculum.
At O Parque we are concerned to help form complete people, with constant care for the development of children in their various dimensions, not only academic but also social and cultural - arts, social skills and sports are an integral part of their day-to-day life in school.
Our active and progressive teaching methodology is built by our young, cheerful and enthusiastic team that has the guidance of the pedagogical director and the educational psychologist.
We intend to nurture children to be curious with everything around them, seeking answers to their questions and, not least, be very happy children!
